Your visual cortex flips it before you ever experience seeing. In the 1890s George Stratton tested how deep that runs by wearing goggles that inverted the world, all day, for over a week. The first days were unusable. Then his brain simply re-corrected, and everything came back the right way up while the goggles were still on.
Take the goggles off and it inverts again. There is no raw feed. There is only the correction.
